- Stripe on Pro is your own Payment Link from the Stripe dashboard. Ratewell writes it into the agreement so clients can pay without a second tool.
- The rate is a model, not a survey. It starts from a reference rate per skill for US mid-senior freelance work and adjusts for seniority, region, client type, demand, scope risk, and the overhead you carry yourself. Nobody was polled. Treat the number as a considered starting position you can defend, and move it when you know something the model does not.
- The trial takes a card up front and becomes a paid month on its own. That is deliberate, and we email you before the first charge. Cancel from the billing portal any time before it renews.
